If Grey's anger went unchecked, the coroner would end up working late.
Although he was not a demon in the true sense of the word, there were few who would argue otherwise. He was reclusive and silent- so secretive and stealthy that n o one knew he was even present, ever hiding in the shadows, until he announced himself. More then any of his mannerisms that betrayed him were his eyes. They were dark and seemingly endless, drawing people in and then shocking them with what was behind the façade of humanity. They were like the sirens of old legend, a superficial and twisted beauty hiding a horror of ungodly proportions. At times the eyes seemed dead and unreal, other times anxious and ominous, although never during the appropriate moments. There was a life behind the eyes.
It did not belong to Grey.
