and Kyo, aover time humans have to consume more alcahol to get as drunk, by now you'd have to drink more alcahol than the average person does water. how can you aford it, or is hekshanian anatomy just that different?
-Grey: Because I want to die.
-Kyo: To clear up for the kid...I don't think he was the one who gave himself most of his scars. Only a couple. Since he can't feel nothin', he tends to bump into stuff or like you saw in the comic, step on sharp things and get injured that way. He doesn't realize it, so they don't get taken care of and scar up.
-Buddy, buddy. Drinking for two years does not send your tolerance that high. Sure, I gotta drink a little more than the usual, but I'm not drinking to get shitfaced either. Just to get feeling pleasent, ya know? Also, I save money on not eatin' that much or buying many other things. So it evens out.
i'm sorry to hear that grey, and must say that i hope you are disapointed in that department.
forgive me kyo, my sense of time is slightly distorted and i had a feeling it had been more like 5 or 6 years. spending on simple needs alone, ehh? well enough.
-Kyo: It feels longer sometimes, but it basicly breaks down pretty simple. For like a month after the massacres, Lyika and I lived together. Then she left. About two months later, I wound up at the hospital. For like a week or two in there, I was dating Zara. For like two months after that, I was hangin' out with Jet and helping him get on his feet around here. After that nothing really interesting happened for like three months. Chovek moved into the neighborhood after that, introduced me to Daan. Nothin' major for a while after that, then Zara had her kid. And that was like ... almost a year ago. I've had a few minor adventures in there, but nothin to write home about.
kyo: whacha doing for valentine's day..? anything special or stuff..? o_O
grey:what would you do if you were left alone, free to do whatever and stuff..? you think you could survive that way.?
-Kyo: Mmm actually, Hekshanians don't celebrate the ol' v-day. I kinda like the idea in general myself, though, but I figure sappy stupid stuff like that shouldn't be restricted to one day. So nah, not doin anything special. That I know of, anyways.
-Grey: I don't know. I'd survive. Yes.

-Kyo: I tell you right now, it's nothing really crazy sexy nutso out of the ordinary. Not like bondage or anything. I got a very, very mild thing for being told what to do. One of the reasons Zara and I lasted as long as we did, likely. But that's it right there.
-Grey: No.
-Kyo: You can prolly tell, Grey's not a very uh...active person in that department.
..hey, you never know.. o_O cutting himself or scars could be a fetish for him..*shrugs*
and since im here now anyway, i might as well ask for advice.. one of my friends is planning to break up with her bf for this one guy.. that ive liked for a while now.. and he likes her back n stuff... they would make a nice couple... and i dunno what to do.. cause im kind of..upset, i guess.. and i wish em bad things, but then i feel terrible about it because i know neither of them deserves it..*sigh* yeah.. o_O; my friend doesn't know that i like him, and she sits during class n talks about him all excited-like and stuff.. so, great master psychologists, Kyo and Grey, whatever should i do?(if anything.. i planned jus to ignore it and pretend it went away.. o_O;)
-Kyo: Well, you woulda gone for my philosophy. I mean, you're young. This isn't gonna be the only guy you'll ever like ever, right? So, maybe you could just wait through it. Ya know. Give em your blessing and make sure they're both happy. That'd be what I'd do. But you might wanna make it known that even if you're not actively goin after this guy, you had feelings for him at one point in time. Like, just let your friend know. The guy might get weirded out if he knows. And like, maybe you can get to be better friends with him this way too. Annnnd maybe you can catch this guy on the rebound if they break up too. Or maybe cause'a this, you'll find out the guy is a Jerkface Mcgee and you never wanted to date him anyways.

and i know its not the only guy ill ever like.. it jus hurts n stuff.. even though i dont really understand why.. o_O usually it doesnt bug me so much..
anyway, i thought of another decent question for kyo: how come you wont buy grey some new clothes..? o_o;

-Kyo: Stuff like this does hurt. And you got two options to make it stop hurting. Wait and hide it and hope it fades out, where it might flare up again, or get honest once and have it hurt like hell, and then be done with. You'll survive it, kid. It helps to vent, and have someone to talk to through it though.
-I haven't bought Grey any cloths because story-wise, I've only had him round for a day and a half. I tried to lend him some'a mine while we did laundry. He seemed okay on the jeans, but doesn't like short sleeved shirts. Also he's all skin and fuckin' bones, so he has to hold the jeans up all the time anyway.
but since you spend most of your money on booze, wouldnt you be skinny too, kyo..? with the..ye know, not eating.. o_O;
for both of ye though, what are your favorite foods..? o.o
-Kyo: YES! I am skinny! BUT! I got a tail. The way Hekshanian pants work is there's a flap that gets buttoned over the top of the tail. So you can be a scrawny motherfucker like me, but basicly your own tail holds your pants up. And failing that, there's always string. I don't really have a favourite food, but I guess I like eggs okay. And toast.
-Grey: Bread.
-Kyo: Boxers, man! Swing free all the way!
-Grey: To be left alone, to be normal, to sleep.

-Kyo: Dude, I so totally had this question before. And the answer forever stands. PIRATES man! What could beat wenches and rum? I mean. RUM. It's part of your JOB to drink RUM.
-Grey: Don't care.
-Grey: Like dust and alcohol. Chocolate.

-Kyo: I dunno what he's talking about, I don't roll around in the dirt or nothin. I shower every morning. Grey'll wash if you turn on the water for him and leave the room. Otherwise he doesn't know where the bathroom is or how to adjust it or whatever. So cause he's livin with me? Once a day, same as me.
Kewl, one last question, for all three of you.
-Kyo: I gueeeess you could say I never really thought about a singular God, cause it's not really what I was raised with. I mean, my family was pretty liberal about religion anyway and besides that what we did practice wasn't a mono-thiestic thing. So not really, naw.
-Grey: Yes.
-Grey: No.
-Kyo: Most trouble? Ha. Like, the night I was leaving I also was busted for drinking. Which didn't really matter since I was leaving anyway. But if I'd stuck around, I really woulda got in trouble.
-Grey: No.
-Kyo: WWJD? With me? Prolly pat me on the back and tell me I'm making him sad but it's okay or somethin like that.
-On that note, yep. Hekshano had a few religions before Rulerism touched down. The two major ones we had going on were Kerish, which is pretty similar to the way Gregorian monks live and Munin which is a little more structured for organized governments and stuff. We also had a buncha outside religions, like Christianity and Buddism and that stuff, but it never really had as big a hold as the main two. My family was pretty unorthodox Kerish. :)
-I dunno that I have any real major irrational fears, really. I kinda worry about my friends getting hurt or leaving, but I know that's something I can't really control.
-Grey: Trains.
-Kyo: I am in noooooo way artistic. I used to like draw lil naked people in my textbooks in highschool, but they weren't like, anatomically correct or in varied positions or anything. And Grey can't really see nothin, so I don't think he can draw. But I dunno, maybe he does?
-Don't worry about bugging us :) That's why we're here, man. I like pets, but don't really like havin to take care of them all the time. Pet sitting is okay. I like kinda bigger pets, like the ones you can pick up and play with without worrying about them disappearing into the couch and never coming out again.
-Grey: Cats.

-Kyo: I dunno. Jesus was pretty cool, from what I hear. Maybe he'd say something that'd perk the kid up or somethin like that. Buy him a hat or something.
-And dude, Jesus would drink wine! Duh! Everyone drank it back then, cause water was too dirty. I remember that much from history.
-My favourite is, in general, vodka. I just kinda like the texture the liquid itself has, along with the way it gets your body heat up. And I like the smell. Grey does drink liquids, I've seen him do it. I think he leans towards milk.
-I like a girl with the right allocations, who is fast, and thorough, and sharp as a tack. She is playing with her jewlery, she's putting up her hair. She is touring the facility and picking up slack. I want a girl with a short skirt and a looooooooong....jacket! :) Ha, nah. I like girls who can stand up for themselves and have strong personalities. Also, it helps if they don't want to kill me or constantly insult me.

-Kyo: Saright, they're all good questions so far. :) I read a lot, it's like the one thing I do. Mostly I stick to kids' stuff, cause I figure it usually has a more upbeat tone and puts out a better message. I'm not talking like, Timmy the Train goes to Town, but more like the Pushcart War or Nincombobus (Dang, I know that's not how it's spelled) and stuff. I do read some other stuff too. Not like books on mechanics or physics or any of that crap, though. It's gotta have a plot.

-Kyo: I think the meaning of life is pretty simple. You try to do good stuff, and be good to the people around you.
-I can not cook. At all. But I'll try. There was this thing involving trying to make toast using the oven. It didn't come out too good. Favourite colour's orange. :)

-Kyo: She'll be thinking 'Dang, what did that guy say I was gonna be thinking at noon?' So I'm gonna say Wooping Llamas, and let's see if she does. It'll be awesome.
-I Kiiiiinda play cards. I don't win. But it doesn't really matter, cause I'm not the kinda person who plays cards to win anyways. More to hang out with the guys, have a few drinks, talk about stuff. Usually when we play we put the max bet around a fivespot, to keep from all walkin away totally broke.
-I dunno what I dream about. Stuff, I guess. Like uh...I dunno. Landscapes, bugs. Doing stuff. It's not meaningful or anything. I don't usually dream that often. Dunno why.
-Lyika'll be back soon enough. I mean, she said she would be. I got a feeling it'll be her and not someone else, cause I think there's something there that neither one of us is ever gonna put away that says we're still family. Even if she wants to throttle me when she does see me. Family's weird that way, idn' it?
-I do have scars, funny you should ask. It's kinda hard to see em under the fur, but around the time I went to the hospital I had a kinda short stint with cutting myself. By short I mean real short, cause it ended when I went to the hospital. But besides my wrist, which is a mess under there, I got some on my left forearm. I also have a bunch on my knees and legs just from general trippin and fallin through time. Kid scars, dumb teen stunt scars. Ya know. Generic ones.

-Grey: Nothing.
-Kyo: I really don't think there is. The most he's ever said was like a five word sentance. I figure he's not a real talkative person to start with, and on top'a that he says he's not so good at Uni.
-My top five would prolly be along the lines of 'I' 'need' 'a' 'drink' and 'kid'. I think Grey's are more like 'No' 'Yes' 'Don't' 'know' 'why' and 'you.'

-Kyo: I'm allergic to pineapples. And possiably sobriety. Although I don't think that one's on my medical record. I'm getting the impression the kid's allergic to trains, or maybe to speaking out loud. Either way. Pineapples.
-Half full? Half empty? I think there's some dude admining around this internet with the right idea. Life's a shotglass. If it's half full or half empty, someone just isn't trying.

-Kyo: Yeah, we have a few minor bugs that go around. Nothin quite like the flu, though. We don't get that many stomach bugs that can't be taken care of with meds.
