Koji pounces on Grey and pulls him into a bear hug. Lypha injects the syringe into Grey’s upper arm.

Grey grips at the injection site with his other hand, as the swirling darkness engulfs him.

“Well first, a dog is not mad, do you grant me that?”
“Of course,” said Alice.
“A dog wags his tail when he is happy and growls when he is angry.”
“I wag my tail when I am angry and growl when I am happy.”
“So I must be mad.”
