Ashido Tsukiyo, the captain of the Chrisodeo, is on radio with Koji. The ships approach each other.
Ashido: So we’re all goin ta Hekshano ta drop off Nut Boy there, huh? Glad ta help. (annoyed emoji)
Koji: So they tell me. We can refuel and resupploi there and go on tew the new base.
Ashido: Fergive me fer thinkin that leavin the Human behind isn’t gonna throw off da Rulerists fer too long. Comin up on yer tail.
The Chrisodeo collides with the Jester X, sending the other ship moving.
Time out. While Koji explains what just happened.
Oi mates! Koji here. Now, wot just went on is that moi ship, bein of large size, can’t foir her engines. The Rulerists are lookin for ships large enough to make the trip we just did. They do this boi followin our fuel trails. A big ship loik moi Jester X leaves a big trail, so Oi can’t make her move. Ash’s ship, bein smaller, can though. Since her movin is okay, we did wot in pilot terms is called a “Love-Tap,” which is a little push. The laws of Physics can explain. An object in motion will remain in motion til acted upon boi an outside force. Friction is one’a these forces. However, in space, friction doesn’t exist. So with that push from Ashido, we can just coast on the movement til we’re safe enough away tew foir our engines, no matter how far that might be! So that’s wot just happened, and why!
