arc : Albert's White Rat if you've read about the myches, you'd know that their culture spent a long time under slavery as most species didn't realize they were sentient for a long time. this left them with a very tight-knit trust and reliance on one another, because of that knowledge that at one time, all myches had to trust were other myches.
